Chapter 14

The next few weeks seemed to fly by. Somehow, I had managed to fall into a routine with school and work and spending time with the guys. It helped that I only worked three, sometimes four days a week. I enjoyed our evenings together.

Blaze had another Wednesday night fight last week, and of course he won. Big surprise. I mean, he was the Incredible Hulk after all. From what the guys had told me, he always won, and it wasn’t very difficult to see why. How could anyone win against the Incredible Hulk?

Dixon had managed to get his hands on a copy of the movie The Avengers, and it was quite humorous to see what unique abilities each of the characters had. I wasn’t certain it was meant to be a comedy, but it sure seemed that way to us. My favorite part was the way the Incredible Hulk just seemed to smash everything. That was definitely Blaze, even if he was my big teddy bear.

Tonight was the fall dance, and I had mixed feelings about it. Dixon had dropped me off at the dorm so that I could get ready with Steph, but then the four guys had to go pick up their dates. I wasn’t jealous, not really, knowing that the guys would much rather have been with me tonight, but it just pissed me off knowing the way that their fathers controlled them.

They had each sent me off with kisses that made my knees weak, and just thinking about them brought a blush to my face. Luckily, Steph was too busy updating me about everything I had missed on campus, even though I was here for classes every day and ate lunch with her Monday through Friday. She had pretty much talked non-stop since I entered our room.

Yesterday after dinner, the guys had sat me down on one of the couches in the great room. They had all four looked so intense that I thought they were upset with me about something, and I had twisted my hands nervously in my lap until Blaze finally set a box in my lap.

When I opened the lid, I had been shocked by the box’s contents. The four of them had gone dress shopping for me. Shoes were included as well. Just the idea that they had gone dress shopping for me brought a smile to my face, and I could only imagine the looks they had gotten in the store. Four gorgeous men perusing racks of dresses to find the one they thought would be perfect for me. They hadn’t been wrong.

The dress was a perfect fit, as if they had somehow taken my measurements without me knowing. Looking down, I took in the A-line, scooped neck, chiffon dress, the color a cerulean blue. It was amazing.

The dress was floor length and the fabric felt like a caress against my skin. The bodice was form-fitting, accentuating my large breasts and narrow waist, and was covered in sequins that formed delicate patterns down past my waist and over my hips.
